Rachel Contracting is seeking a qualified Heavy Equipment Operator to join our site-work teams in the Midwest. You will operate earthmoving machinery to support road and site grading, drainage, and utility projects with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role emphasizes experience with civil construction equipment, strong teamwork, and the initiative to complete tasks in fast-paced environments, while upholding quality workmanship and professional conduct on all sites in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating heavy equipment in civil construction environments.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and support a team in challenging or fast-paced conditions.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Support the construction of earthwork components for projects, including site grading, road construction and improvements, drainage systems, road maintenance, dewatering, soil stabilization, foundation excavation and backfilling, utility installation, and other required civil infrastructure.
• Operate various heavy equipment, including motor graders (blades), dozers, excavators, water trucks, off-road trucks, and skid steers.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and established work plans to ensure a safe and efficient job site.
