Job summary

Conti Corporation is seeking a Heavy Equipment Crew Operator for Drilled Shaft Operations. You will operate and maintain equipment across multiple job sites, including skid steers, backhoes, water trucks, and mini excavators, supporting drilled shaft installations.

A valid CDL Class A with tanker endorsement is required, with crane certification preferred for higher pay. Travel to out-of-town assignments is expected, and night shifts as needed are part of the role, with union benefits and

• Must be able to follow instructions and work safely with a crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment including:
• Skid steer
• Backhoe
• Water truck
• Mini excavator
• Assist with drilled shaft installation and related site preparation
• Follow direction from site supervision and work collaboratively with crew members
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with company and OSHA regulations
• Perform duties in various weather conditions and during night shifts as needed

Qualifications

• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency operating the listed equipment
• License: Valid CDL Class “A” with tanker endorsement (required)
• Certifications: OSHA/NCCO equivalent crane certification (preferred; earns additional hourly pay)
• Travel: Willingness to travel regularly for out-of-town assignments
• Work Conditions: Comfortable working outdoors year-round and during night shifts
• Teamwork: Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
