Amentum is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Fort Carson, CO. The role involves operating excavators, backhoes, skid loaders, cranes, and other equipment to perform grading, ditch restoration, and related tasks.

Overtime and on-call duties apply, with snow removal in winter. The position requires a Class A CDL, a high school diploma or GED, and at least two years of heavy equipment experience; willingness to lift up to 50 pounds and work unsupervised is expected.

Formación

• Must obtain and maintain facility credentials; US Citizenship is required for credentials at this work location.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Class A CDL required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of two years related Heavy Equipment Operator experience.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Able to work alone unsupervised.
• Proficiency operating various construction equipment.
• Dump truck and tractor trailer experience preferred.
• Tanker and hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Safe driving record within past 36 months if required for company/customer vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment (excavators, backhoes, skid steers, cranes, graders, rollers, etc.).
• Perform dirt work such as grading and storm ditch restoration; assist with snow removal in winter.
• Work overtime and be on call; perform other duties as assigned.

Conocimientos

CDL Class A
