Job summary

Trans-Global Solutions, Inc. is seeking a safety‑minded Heavy Equipment Operator to support its heavy civil construction projects in Shreveport, LA. The role focuses on operating articulating dump trucks and rollers with emphasis on efficiency and safety on site.

Responsibilities include inspections, daily hours/fuel reporting, OSHA adherence, coordination with site teams, and occasional general tasks. Requirements include 3–5 years’ experience and a valid CDL; strong work ethic and reliability

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years operating articulating dump trucks on construction/heavy civil projects.
• Skills: strong operation, maintenance, safety and material handling knowledge; ability to read grades/plans.
• Certifications/Licenses: Valid driver’s license; Class A or B CDL preferred; heavy equipment certifications a plus.
• Physical and Environmental: ability to sit/stand bend reach lift up to 50 lbs; outdoor work in all weather; exposure to noise and vibrations.
• Other: reliable transportation; pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate articulating dump trucks, rollers/compactors, and other heavy equipment to move, load, level, and compact earth and materials.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor servicing to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, hours, fuel, and materials; report issues to supervisors.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and site safety plans while working in active construction environments.
• Collaborate with site teams to meet project timelines and quality standards for grading and site preparation.
• Assist with general site duties as needed and maintain a clean, organized work area.
