Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking an equipment operator for heavy highway construction projects in Frazer, PA. The role requires operating excavators, loaders, and dozers, and performing routine inspections and maintenance.

You will collaborate with site supervisors, follow safety protocols, and assist with material movement and grading to meet timelines. A CDL and ability to lift 50 lbs are preferred. Must be prepared for varied day/night/weekend schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience
• CDL license (A or B) with Tanker endorsement preferred
• Valid/Clean Driver’s License
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Willing to work day, night shifts and weekends on construction contracts
• Experience operating excavators/loaders is preferred
• Knowledge of site work methods, materials, tools, and safety practices

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, loaders, and dozers safely in heavy highway construction environments
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Collaborate with site supervisors and crew to meet project timelines and safety standards
• Follow site safety protocols and report hazards immediately
• Assist with material movement, grading, and site preparation
