Job summary

Alvin ISD is seeking a Maintenance & Operations professional to drive, control and service heavy‑duty construction equipment to keep campuses in excellent condition, safe and ready for educational use.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED, Texas Class C license, optional CDL, and at least 2 years’ related experience; starting wage is $18.22 per hour on the AUX PG 5 / 261 days pay scale.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Driver's license (Class C) required.
• CDL license a plus; other heavy equipment licensure if required.

Responsibilities

• Drive, control and service heavy-duty construction equipment to maintain campus facilities.
• Read gauges, dials and indicators and react accordingly on-site.
• Coordinate actions with other workers on busy job sites.
• Operate equipment safely in accordance with site procedures.
