Montana Materials and Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our United States team in Montana. You will operate rollers, excavators, skid steers, and more on asphalt, earthwork, and utility projects, with a focus on safety and efficiency outdoors.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid driver's license.
• Prior equipment operation experience in construction or related environments.
• Safety minded professional with good attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to communicate well with supervisor and crew.
• Ability to conform to OSHA, MSHA, DOT and all company/state rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently within designed parameters.
• Perform pre- and post-shift inspections.
• Excavate holes and ditches and move materials.
• Load materials into trucks for hauling.
• Use heavy equipment to lift and move heavy structures and equipment.
• Grade terrain and ensure safe slopes on excavations.
• Locate utilities and other buried lines before digging.
• Assist labor crew with asphalt materials and general tasks.
• Maintain regular attendance and participate in a safe, inclusive work environment.
