Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to operate front-end loaders, dozers, graders, rollers, excavators and trucks to move bulk materials and feed conveyors or load vehicles.

Responsibilities include safety policy compliance, pre-operation inspections, routine maintenance, and effective communication with supervisors and coworkers to ensure safe, efficient operations. Rotating shifts and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; training or certification in relevant skill or trade.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Proficiency in operating various heavy equipment (bulldozers, excavators, loaders, graders, etc).
• Basic knowledge of machinery maintenance for inspection, lubrication and minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Eco Material Technologies Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and report defects or malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
• Operates various heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, dozers, graders, rollers, excavators, dump trucks, vacuum or water truck.
• Execute site preparation, excavation, earthmoving, and material handling per project plans and supervisor instructions.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including checking fluids, lubrication and cleaning.
• Maintain safety and coordinate with team to ensure efficient operations.
