Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support Army equipment turn-in operations on-site. You will safely operate forklifts, loaders, cranes, and other MHE, ensuring secure handling, accurate logs, and compliance with Army and DOT standards.

The role requires travel up to 25% within the United States, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain CAC clearance. Strong safety focus and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Licensing: valid driver’s license required.
• Army OF 346 license required or ability to obtain; Forklift/MHE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, loaders, cranes, and MT vehicles per Army and DOT standards.
• Move, load, unload, and transport vehicles and materiel between staging, inspection, and storage areas.
• Perform PMCS and log maintenance; report deficiencies and coordinate repairs.
