Savage is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator at our Cliffside, NC operation. The role requires operating heavy equipment, following safety practices, and working a 12-hour shift on a 7-on/7-off schedule with rotating days and nights.

You will transport materials, handle railcar switching, and maintain equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards. Benefits include health coverage, PTO, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Experience operating dozers, loaders, excavators, locomotives and other heavy equipment.
• Ability to read/write English and follow instructions; basic math and computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Operate conveyor systems to transport coal per safety rules.
• Railcar switching; unload and reclaim limestone and coal.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair facilities and equipment; perform daily safety inspections.
