Job summary

Savage is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support surface operations around the Carbon/Emery area in Utah, with rotating day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

You will operate heavy equipment, perform pre-shift inspections, basic maintenance, and help maintain yard flow to minimize delays while ensuring safety and teamwork across the site.

Class A CDL is preferred; must be dependable, able to work outdoors in varying conditions, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment with proficiency and perform pre-shift inspections.
• Support yard flow by minimizing truck delays and maintaining pile identification accuracy.
• Complete non-equipment tasks such as hand labor, repairs, and site cleanup.
• Maintain daily worksite cleanliness and comply with MSHA standards.
• Follow directions, meet schedules, and communicate effectively with team.
