Job summary

Savage is seeking team members to support surface operations in the Carbon/Emery area with rotating day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts. You will operate heavy equipment, perform inspections, basic maintenance, and help maintain site safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Operate heavy equipment with proficiency and complete pre-shift inspections.
• Communicate effectively in English and follow supervisor directions.
• Demonstrate teamwork and professional interaction with customers and employees.
• Wear and maintain required PPE and safety gear at all times.

Responsibilities

• Flexibility around surface operations with rotating day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Operate heavy equipment, perform basic maintenance and inspections.
• Support yard flow by minimizing delays and ensuring correct pile identification.
• Assist with site cleanup, repairs, and routine upkeep; maintain MSHA standards.
