Job summary

A&M Compost in Manheim, PA is seeking a Night Shift Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. You will safely operate the Wheel Loader and Drum Feeder, enforce safety on the tipping floor, and assist with direct drop-off procedures.

The role requires 18+, a valid driver's license, 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, ability to work outdoors in all weather, and willingness to work every other Saturday and overtime. Fluency in English and a strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License.
• At least 2 years of heavy equipment experience.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather and indoors as needed.
• Must be able to work every other Saturday and overtime.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the facility's Wheel Loader and Drum Feeder.
• Enforce safety procedures on the tipping floor.
• Assist with Direct Drop Off procedures and customers as needed.
• Maintain landscaping onsite including mowing, weed-whacking, mulching.
• Assist with onsite operations as needed when instructed by supervisor.
• Keep the onsite roads/surrounding area litter free.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do

• The ability to work every other Saturday (required) and overtime
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
