Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking experienced personnel to manage the packaging, shipping, and transport of turbine blades and components. The role requires operating heavy equipment, performing daily safety inspections, and directing blade transporters according to interface configurations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment and following safety procedures.
• Rigger level 1 certification preferred.
• Knowledge of crane and rigging best practices.
• Valid state driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Execute packaging, shipping and transporting Turbine Blades/components.
• Operate various Heavy Equipment required to store, distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within establishments.
• Perform daily safety inspections on equipment and rigging and maintain inspection records.
• Direct blade transporters on correct blade transport interface configurations and procedures.
• Maintain inspection records, create shipment manifests; maintain inventory records using smartphone/computer.

Qualifications

• Prefer certification in any of the following: Rigger level 1.
• Heavy Equipment Operations.
• Mobile Crane Rail/Truck transport general knowledge.
• Able to operate all heavy equipment according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
• Valid state Driver's License required.
