Position Overview

Now Hiring: Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: 1901 Louisville Rd, Savannah, GA 31415

Schedule: Monday – Friday with overtime (exact hours TBD)

Are you an experienced heavy equipment operator looking for a great opportunity? We're seeking a skilled operator to safely and efficiently handle a CAT336 Excavator with Rotating Grapple, CAT938 Wheel Loader, and Yard Mule. If you have a keen eye for safety and precision, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is clean and fully operational
• Operate excavators, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and sort accordingly
• Perform routine maintenance and clean tracks/wheels to minimize downtime
• Document equipment conditions and report necessary repairs
• Adhere to Safety, OSHA, and all regulatory requirements
• Clean, service, and store equipment at the end of each shift
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Age: 18+
• Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Experience: Prior heavy equipment operation preferred
• Physical Ability: Must lift up to 75 lbs, stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
• Awareness: Strong visual and auditory perception for safe operation

Pay Range: USD $18.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
