What You’ll Do:

• Champion Safety: Prioritize safety throughout operations, adhering to MSHA and Vulcan standards. Follow traffic patterns, avoid hazards, and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Operate Mobile Equipment Loaders: Load aggregates for processing, feed the plant, and safely load customer trucks within legal limits. Prepare the mining site and move material closer to processing.
• Monitor Materials: Maintain stockpiles and inspect materials for compliance with specifications.
• Perform Inspections and Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete reports, and report maintenance needs. Participate in plant housekeeping and maintenance activities.
• Monitor Processes and Surroundings: Oversee plant operations, report adjustments needed for safety and efficiency.

Skills You’ll Need

• Experience: 2+ years operating loaders and dozers in a plant environment preferred.
• Knowledge: Understanding of equipment capabilities, product specifications, OSHA and MSHA regulations, hazard recognition.
• Flexibility: Ability to work overtime, extended hours, outside in all weather, and tolerate loud noises.
• Driver’s License: Valid license with a clean record.
• Interpersonal Skills: Good communication, teamwork, prompt inquiry response, issue follow-up.
