Job summary

J.E. Shurden Construction LLC is seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to contribute to earthmoving and site development tasks. The role requires operating a range of machines safely and efficiently, performing inspections, and following project plans under supervision.

Ideal candidates have proven equipment experience, a valid driver's license (CDL for Water Truck), and the ability to read grade stakes and site drawings. We offer overtime opportunities and a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret grade stakes, construction drawings, and site plans (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently for earthmoving, grading, trenching, backfilling, and general site development tasks.
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Follow project plans, grade stakes, and directions from supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work cooperatively with ground crews and other operators to complete tasks on schedule.
• Adhere to all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety protocols.

Heavy Equipment Operator

About the Role

We are seeking skilled and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a wide range of earthmoving and construction equipment and a strong commitment to quality work and jobsite safety.

Seeking Operators for the Following Equipment

Candidates should be proficient with one or more of the following machines:

• Scraper
• Bulldozer
• Motor Grader
• Excavator
• Skid Steer
• Roller/Compactor
• CDL Water Truck (Valid CDL required)
• Agricultural Tractor
• Small Trencher

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently for earthmoving, grading, trenching, backfilling, and general site development tasks.
