Job summary

PF Holdings is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate the Loader and other heavy equipment in a plant environment. You will perform daily maintenance, follow supervisor directions, and work outdoors to move materials and load bulk supplies.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a Class C Driver License, and a minimum of 2 years’ Loader experience. Training other staff and participating in safety meetings are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Possess Class C Driver License.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a Loader preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Loader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
• Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area.
• Operate Loader controls to lower and tilt bucket and drive forward to force bucket into bulk material; Move lever to raise and tilt bucket when filled, or to dump material.
• Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the Loader.
• Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the Loader.
• Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections.
• Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.
• Operate other heavy equipment and perform other related duties as required.

Job description

The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Loader and other Heavy Equipment. This position operates loaders equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket which is used to transport aggregate or other materials, feed hoppers or chutes, and/or stock pile aggregates.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Loader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
• Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area.
• Operate Loader controls to lower and tilt bucket and drive forward to force bucket into bulk material; Move lever to raise and tilt bucket when filled, or to dump material.

Other Requirements

Mental and Physical Requirements

• Able to read, speak and write English.
• Work performed in a plant environment. Exposure to inclement weather as most work will be performed outside.
• Regularly required to lift, carry, push, and pull 75 lbs. or more.
• Frequently required to walk on unleveled ground.

• Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials and manipulating things.
