Job summary

ProFrac Services in Bossier City, LA, is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely operate the Loader and other heavy equipment. The role includes daily maintenance, following supervisor guidance, and ensuring safe handling of materials in a plant environment.

Responsibilities include training new staff on Loader operation, participating in daily safety meetings, and performing other related duties as needed. Must meet English literacy, safety, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Possess Class C Driver License.
• Minimum of 2 years’ Loader operating experience preferred.

The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Loader and other Heavy Equipment. This position operates loaders equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket which is used to transport aggregate or other materials, feed hoppers or chutes, and/or stock pile aggregates.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Loader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.

• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.

• Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area.

• Operate Loader controls to lower and tilt bucket and drive forward to force bucket into bulk material; Move lever to raise and tilt bucket when filled, or to dump material.

• Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the Loader.

• Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the Loader.

• Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections.

• Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.

• Operate other heavy equipment and perform other related duties as required.

Other Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Possess Class C Driver License

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working operating a Loader is preferred

Mental and Physical Requirements

• Able to read, speak and write English.

• Work performed in a plant environment. Exposure to inclement weather as most work will be performed outside.

• Regularly required to lift, carry, push, and pull 75 lbs. or more.

• Frequently required to walk on unleveled ground.

• Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials and manipulating things.
