PCL Construction, Inc. in Goodyear, Arizona is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to handle excavators, skid steers, backhoes, and water trucks on our construction sites. This role emphasizes safety, precision, and efficiency in daily tasks.

The position offers $36 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule (5/10s) and a per diem of $150 per day for eligible travelers. PCL provides medical, dental, and vision insurance and a supportive team environment, with ongoing opportunities for growth.

Formación

• Proven experience operating excavators, skid steers, and backhoes in construction or excavation settings.
• Valid operator's license or certification for heavy equipment preferred.
• Proficient in heavy machinery operation with strong safety knowledge.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Safely and efficiently operate excavators, skid steers, backhoes, and water trucks to perform excavation, backfill, grading, and material handling tasks according to project specifications, manufacture, and PCL policies
• Prepare and maintain work sites by clearing debris, leveling surfaces, and ensuring that machinery is set up correctly for the job
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Work closely with site supervisors, and other construction workers to coordinate tasks and ensure project deadlines are met
• Keep accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and any issues encountered on-site

Job Overview:

Seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to operate excavators, skid steers, backhoes, telehandlers on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy machinery, with a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency.

Position is available in Goodyear, Arizona

Compensation: $36 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday (5/10s)

Per Diem: For eligible travelers
