Job summary

PSC Construction, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This role focuses on safe, efficient operation of excavators, dozers, loaders, and related machinery on underground utility projects.

You will read plans, perform inspections, and collaborate with foremen and project managers to meet schedule and quality goals. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of hands-on equipment experience, a valid driver's license, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
• Experience operating excavators, skid steers, backhoes, dozers, loaders.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, trenchers, skid steers, backhoes, and other earthmoving equipment.
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and compaction according to project plans and specifications.
• Read and follow blueprints, plans, and job specifications.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with foremen, supervisors, project managers, and other jobsite personnel.
• Work as part of a team to complete projects safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite.
• Assist with other jobsite duties as needed.

Requirements
