Job description

Join to apply for the Heavy Equipment Operator role at Caton Construction Group.

Caton Construction Group, with corporate offices in Troy, VA, and Cary, NC, is growing! We are currently seeking qualified BULLDOZER and EXCAVATOR OPERATORS for our bridge/roadway project in Wake County, North Carolina.

Starting pay is competitive and based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain contractor equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, road graders, and front-end loaders.
  • Assist in moving and grading dirt, digging ditches and trenches, hoisting materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety and security standards.
Position Details

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., with potential for overtime, local or out-of-town work, and overnight stays.

Travel and Requirements

Travel is primarily local; some out-of-area travel may occur. Valid driver’s license required. High school diploma or equivalent, with four years of experience involving medium and heavy equipment. A valid CDL license is preferred.
