Heavy Equipment Operator - Front Range Landfill

Location: Erie, Colorado
Pay: $24 + per hour (DOE) | 50 hours per week | Overtime paid after 40 hours
Bonus: Eligible for safety bonuses

Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment, including:

• Compactor - Spread and compact trash
• Dozer - Spread daily cover
• Excavator - Excavate soil
• Grader - Maintain haul roads
• Haul Trucks - Transport soil
  Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  Follow safe operating practices at all times
  Utilize strong interpersonal skills for excellent customer service

Requirements:

Valid driver's license
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
2+ years of experience preferred

Working Conditions & Physical Effort:

Requires strenuous physical activity (lifting/pushing/pulling objects over 60 lbs.)
Work outdoors in various weather conditions (wet, humid, exposure to fumes/vibrations)
Noise levels are usually moderate
