Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to work on diverse construction sites in Durant, OK. You will operate motor graders, scrapers, dozers, and excavators, perform daily inspections, and report any issues promptly.

Expect long-term field assignments across multiple states with strict safety and quality standards. The role requires fluent English, strong teamwork, and the ability to adapt to varying weather and terrain.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience operating heavy earthmoving equipment (motor grader, scraper, dozer, excavator).
• 1 year of industry specific related equipment operation experience.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is a mandatory requirement for this role.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily machine inspections, including fluids, wear parts, tires, glass, and general machinery condition.
• Immediately report equipment issues and required maintenance.
• Safely and productively operate assigned machinery.
• Adapt to changing traffic, soil, and weather conditions.
• Travel continuously to project sites across multiple states and remain at assignments for extended periods.

• 3 years' experience operating heavy earthmoving equipment (motor grader, scraper, dozer, excavator)
• 1 year of industry specific related equipment operation experience
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, clients, contractors, and vendors etc.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is a mandatory requirement for this role
