Job description

I. Job Summary

Operates a wide variety of heavy equipment vehicles that perform the spreading and compaction of construction demolition, soil remediation, and waste disposal at post-collection facilities or specific job sites.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additional minor duties may be assigned.

• Operates heavy equipment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance; maintains accurate records.
• Moves and positions raw materials and finished components using material handling equipment.
• Follows standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• May be required to move between job sites as needed.

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory duties.

IV. Qualifications

A. Education and Experience

• Education: None required.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

None required.

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

• Ability to operate various soil excavation/remediation equipment.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.

V. Work Environment

Environmental demands include exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, and physical risks such as cuts or burns. Reasonable accommodations will be made for qualified individuals.
