Job summary

United Engines, LLC. is seeking an experienced mechanical design engineer to move concepts from analysis to manufacturing floor.

You will develop heavy equipment and industrial products, create 3D models and 2D drawings, and collaborate with shop teams, customers, and vendors to ensure production-ready designs. The role requires 2–4 years of experience in industrial equipment design, proficiency with SolidWorks or Inventor, and a strong grasp of mechanical engineering principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
• 2-4 years of experience designing industrial, heavy, or power generation equipment with 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks/Inventor/Creo).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical components and assemblies.
• Support design, development, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, manufacturing and other teams on integration.
• Review ECRs and implement ECOs per company standards.
• Build project timelines, communicate progress, and prepare technical reports.
