Job summary

Jack B. Parson Companies, a CRH Company, seeks a skilled heavy equipment mechanic to repair and maintain trucks, dozers, excavators, and other equipment in Utah. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, and ensure safety and quality in every job.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 5 years of heavy equipment experience, and a valid driver's license. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliable, durable repairs across our fleet.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of experience as a skilled automotive mechanic with heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to read and interpret documents.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots problems, making economical and durable repairs.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists and hand tools.
• Maintains and repairs heavy equipment, trucks, shop, and non-mobile equipment on a company-wide basis.
• Services vehicles/equipment including oil changes, greasing, fluids, and maintenance schedules; repairs electrical and hydraulic systems.
