Job summary

Swank Construction Company, LLC is seeking a General Mechanic to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair company vehicles and equipment. You will diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, repair components, and fabricate parts as needed.

The position requires 3+ years of hands-on experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll work from the shop and travel to job sites as necessary, adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 3+ years of equipment/vehicle maintenance and repair experience.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude with ability to read manuals and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems using diagnostic tools.
• Repair and rebuild engines, transmissions, differentials, hydraulics, and electrical components.
• Fabricate and repair metal parts as needed.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repairs performed.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including oil changes and inspections.
