Job summary

Harsco Environmental in Calvert, Alabama, is seeking Heavy Equipment Mechanics to repair large off-road construction equipment in an industrial setting. Wages are $31.03 - $47.91 per hour based on experience; shifts may include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Understand technical manuals, illustrations, specifications, diagrams, schematics and similar guides to make repairs according to OEM specifications.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to pass drug/alcohol screens.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshoot, and repair heavy off-road equipment (pot carriers, loaders, material handlers, forklifts, cranes).
• Read and follow OEM manuals and schematics to repair per specifications.
• Welding and fabrication skills will be a plus.
• Work shifts including nights and weekends as needed.
