Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to repair and maintain our fleet under supervision. You will perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, and service calls while assisting Lead Mechanics and documenting work performed.

The role emphasizes OSHA compliance, a clean, safe workspace, and thorough record-keeping of parts and time spent. Strong teamwork and customer-focused communication are valued across the organization.

Qualifications

• Equivalent of 1 high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance services.
• Conducts safety checks on vehicles.
• Performs service calls.
• Reviews and completes repairs identified on Vehicle Condition Reports.
• Assists Lead Mechanics as needed.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards.
• Completes paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounts for applied times.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
