Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to repair and maintain our fleet under limited supervision. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and fix electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems, and handle service calls while ensuring OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (or 4 years related experience) and a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair, or 4 years of related experience.
• Valid driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance services.
• Inspects, diagnoses and repairs vehicles and equipment.
• Repairs electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Performs service calls.
• Conducts safety checks.
• Assists Lead Mechanics as needed.
• Reviews and completes repairs identified on Vehicle Condition Reports.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area per OSHA standards.
• Completes paperwork for repairs and parts usage.
• Maintains positive relations with customers, vendors and coworkers.
