Pro-Vac is seeking an Equipment Mechanic to maintain and service our expansive fleet, ensuring reliable environmental services for communities. You will organize work orders by priority, diagnose equipment issues, and troubleshoot independently in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have heavy equipment experience with a minimum of one year, shop experience of at least two years, and are proficient with computer systems to handle daily tasks.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 1 year experience with heavy equipment.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a shop environment.
• Proficient in using computer systems and applications to complete daily tasks.

Aufgaben

• Analyze and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and major/minor repairs on a variety of equipment, including occasional welding and fabrication.
• Execute repairs on gas and diesel engines, transmissions, electrical and electronic systems, brakes, hydraulic systems, suspensions, steering, and fuel systems.
• Complete Federal DOT inspections on commercial vehicles.
