Job summary

Colorado Department of Transportation in Durango, CO seeks a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to disassemble, diagnose, and repair a wide range of state-owned equipment. You will work with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems to restore machinery to working order.

Base pay is $2,478–$2,610 biweekly, plus a monthly $500 housing stipend, totaling about $70,428–$73,848 per year. Eligible for Colorado benefits and state employee pay scale; a Class A or B CDL is encouraged as part of

Base pay for this position is typically between $2,478-$2,610/biweekly ($64,428-$67,848/annually). This location is also eligible for an additional $ 500/month housing stipend, resulting in total pay of $70,428-$73,848/annually.
