Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a qualified diesel/heavy equipment mechanic for our Carrollton, TX shop. You will diagnose, repair, and service diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, and related components.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a diesel/heavy equipment or related mechanic.
• Strong electrical and hydraulic diagnostic and repair experience.
• Ability to diagnose electrical/hydraulic issues and complete repairs.
• Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and Tier 4 emissions.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools like multimeters and software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and hydraulic/electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and CAN bus issues and perform repairs.
• Follow safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain tools and participate in training and mentoring.
