TOTAL Industries is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy construction and agricultural equipment. Duties include hydraulics, diesel/electric engines, and crane operations; you may work in a shop, road, or fleet role, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 10 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics and electrical engines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proven diagnosis and trouble-shooting skills.
• Ability to clearly describe in writing, specific equipment information and findings in English.
• Ability to work safely under pressure, take general directions and use good judgement when working independently.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to concentrate on a task for long periods.
• Ability to drive a motor vehicle to travel to customer sites.

Aufgaben

• Perform pre-scheduled maintenance, lube services, and minor repairs on construction and agricultural equipment.
• Diagnose and repair issues, including hydraulics and diesel/electric engines.
• Work with Service Advisor to determine daily 8-hour work assignments.
• Maintain safety and quality standards and submit quotes and completed work orders.
