E-Z Bel Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced heavy equipment technician to repair and service a fleet of heavy machinery in shop and field environments. You will diagnose issues using Caterpillar ET, Snap-On, and OEM software, with a focus on hydraulics, electrical, and diesel systems.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, component installation, safety compliance, and meticulous documentation of repairs and parts.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in heavy equipment/fleet repair or equivalent technical training.
• Depth in hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.
• Skill with OEM software, Caterpillar ET, Snap-On, and multimeters.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Welding/fabrication experience preferred.
• Safety-first mindset; adherence to procedures.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on brakes, hydraulic hoses, clutches, AC systems, alternators, water pumps.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections with detailed work orders.
• Utilize Caterpillar ET, Snap-On, OEM programs, and multimeters to diagnose faults.
• Work on equipment including loaders, skid steers, excavators, manlifts, and fleet trucks.
• Troubleshoot hydraulics, pumps, cylinders, and flow components.
• Install GPS units, lighting, and related components to spec.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and equipment safely during tasks.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout, hot work, confined space, and OSHA protocols.
• Record parts usage, labor time, and repair notes in Equipment360 or other systems.
• Coordinate with Foremen, Dispatch, and Operators; manage part orders/returns/warranty.
