The role involves troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and diesel systems, communicating needs to customers and shop staff, and ensuring safety and quality in every job. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of field experience, owns essential tools, and can operate company service vehicles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience repairing heavy equipment and knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate company service vehicles.
• Ability to perform basic and complex diagnostics on equipment and communicate repairs to shop supervisor and customer.
• Diagnostics and repairs include electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and diesel systems.
• UnderCarriage component knowledge.
• Proficient computer skills for reporting issues.
• Must be able to use computer or tablet for diagnostics and data entry.
• Assist in maintaining and cleaning shop area, tools and company vehicles.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians and parts personnel.
• Skilled in operating/heavy equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Must have own tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and perform repairs to equipment.
• Interact with customers to communicate required repairs and future work.
