Job summary

CRH's APAC Mississippi, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to work with a team maintaining heavy equipment and trucks, performing repairs, diagnostics and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a two-year certificate, experience with diesels, hydraulics and electrical systems, be willing to travel and work nights/weekends, and hold a CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate from college or technical school.
• Extensive experience in truck and heavy equipment maintenance and repair, including diesels, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• CDL preferred and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze malfunctions and repairs, rebuild and maintain equipment including heavy construction equipment.
• Operate and inspect machines and equipment to diagnose defects.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Replace defective engines and sub-assemblies such as transmissions and hydraulic pumps.
• Test overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency and safety.
