Job summary

Worldwide Machinery in Godley, TX is seeking a Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic to repair and maintain earthmoving and pipeline equipment in yard and shop.

You will diagnose mechanical, emission, electrical and hydraulic issues, perform preventative maintenance, and use diagnostic tools across Caterpillar and John Deere equipment. A valid driver's license and ability to work independently are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience servicing and repairing heavy construction equipment.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar, John Deere and OTR equipment preferred.
• Working knowledge of emission systems (T4/T4F).
• Experience with OEM parts lookup and ordering systems.
• Ability to work independently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, emission, electrical and hydraulic issues.
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance.
• Use computer diagnostic tools for multiple manufacturers.
• Identify, research and order parts as needed.
• Complete service reports, work orders and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by service or fleet managers.

Worldwide Machinery Now Hiring: Heavy Equipment Shop MechanicLocation: Godley, TXHours: Mon- Fri, 7:00 am - 5:30 pmPay: $28 - 45 an hour, based on skills and experience

Summary: The ideal Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of earthmoving and pipeline equipment in yard and shop. Experience with Caterpillar, Joen Deer, Bell, etc. is preferred.

Responsibilities:
