Job summary

United States Army invites individuals to enlist as Soldiers and serve as a Construction Equipment Repairer. You will repair and maintain heavy equipment such as trucks, bulldozers, and power shovels to keep critical engineer gear in safe, working condition.

Entry-level position with no experience required. Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 8 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, plus benefits like healthcare, education, housing, and retirement programs.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card.
• Ages 17 to 34.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Meet tattoo guidelines.
• No major law violations.
• No medical concerns.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain heavy Army equipment, including trucks, bulldozers, and power shovels.
• Perform tune-ups on brakes, motors, engines, drive pumps, water pumps, transmissions, and high‑pressure hydraulic systems.
• Learn and apply maintenance procedures to ensure equipment safety and reliability.
