Job Description
Harsco Environmental is the premier provider of material processing and environmental services to the global steel and metals industries. Our onsite mill services and resource recovery services offer sustainable solutions that maximize environmental benefit and return valuable raw material into production. We also have developed a range of by-products for specialized applications across industry, construction, and agriculture, utilizing Harsco’s expertise in mineral materials.
Our Heavy Equipment Mechanics are experienced in repairing large, off-road, construction-type equipment in an industrial environment. Wages start at $39.18 per hour. Shifts may include nights and weekends.
The right candidate must be a self-starter capable of completing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy off-road equipment such as pot carriers, loaders, material handlers, fork trucks, and cranes. Knowledge and experience with diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, and electronics are required. Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
Experience, Knowledge, and Education Requirements:
