Job summary

ForceSource is seeking a Service Technician to service and repair heavy equipment including skid loaders and excavators. The role requires diesel knowledge, troubleshooting, and diagnostics with a strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple repairs.

Engine rebuild and welding skills are a plus, and applicants should be comfortable operating in a team environment, with safety as a priority. A valid driver’s license is needed; CDL and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in diesel knowledge with troubleshooting, repair and diagnostics on equipment such as skid loaders and excavators.
• Specialized skills in engine rebuild and/or welding are a plus.
• General working knowledge of machine operation and specific techniques is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate high proficiency and accuracy with repairs.
• Fill out accurate work orders and all applicable paperwork.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and manage multiple repairs at once.
• Strive to grow in mechanical areas of machine repair.

• Follow handbook regarding dress code for the service department.

• Own proper tools and be knowledgeable of hydraulics, hydrostat, engines, electrical, fuel systems, and/or charging systems.

• Exhibit cheerful presence and teamwork skills.
• Must pass background check at time of hire.
• Involves operation of heavy equipment such as Excavators, Loaders, Dozers, Paving Graders, Forklifts.

Experience in diesel knowledge along with troubleshooting, repair and diagnostics on all types of equipment including skid loaders, excavators and medium to heavy duty equipment. Employee must have strong work ethic and manage multiple repairs at once. Must have general working knowledge of machine operation and specific techniques and operations.

Specialized skills in engine rebuild and/or welding a plus.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
