Job summary

SA Recycling LLC seeks a Maintenance Helper to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy equipment at the Norcross yard. The role covers electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical diagnostics, parts inventory, ordering, and reporting in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have a vocational/technical background; hydraulic, electrical, and diesel maintenance experience is highly desired. Willingness to work in varying weather and pass background checks is required; bilingual

Qualifications

Vocational/Technical degree highly desired.
Hydraulic, electrical, and diesel maintenance experience highly desired.
Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
Must be willing to complete, and successfully pass a drug screen, physical and background check.
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on electrical and hydraulic systems.
Assist routine maintenance on heavy equipment per manufacturer recommendations.
Maintain accurate service records of work performed.
Assist in ordering and maintaining spare parts inventory.
Coordinate with yard managers to schedule routine or emergency maintenance.
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
Ensure safe use of vehicles, equipment, and tools.
