Job summary

American Cementing LLC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Lube Technician in Marshall, TX to perform routine preventive services on heavy equipment and fleet vehicles. Duties include oil changes, inspections, fluid checks, and filter replacements to keep equipment safe and compliant with standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Class 1 Driver's License, with prior heavy equipment or commercial vehicle maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy equipment or commercial vehicle maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and reporting a plus.
• Oil and gas industry maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine oil changes and lubrication services on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, leaks, belts, and tire conditions.
• Check and top off all fluid levels including coolant, transmission, power steering, and washer fluid.
• Replace air, fuel, and cabin filters as needed.
• Conduct basic visual inspections to identify safety or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and dispose of used oil and filters properly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors and technicians about additional service needs or prospective repairs.
• Assist mechanics with maintenance tasks and repairs as assigned.
• Stay informed about basic heavy equipment trends and service practices.
• Perform other duties to support operations.
