Job summary

Hills Machinery is seeking a Lube Technician to maintain both light and heavy equipment through lubrication of engines, transmission, hydraulics and related components. The role involves field work under supervision, with occasional in-shop service and a need for a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

You will perform radiator cleaning, replace air cleaners and filters, and conduct standard lubrication tasks.

Qualifications

• One year of maintenance and minor repair on heavy equipment or the equivalent of 2 years on automobiles.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and able to stand and climb to heights specific to machine.

Responsibilities

• Uses hand tools, pneumatic tools, water, solvents, or compressed air to blow out radiators and belly pans of dozers, scrapers, loaders, trash compactors and other equipment on a regular basis.
• Removes and replaces air cleaners, pre-cleaners, and cabin filters. Performs lubrication of zerk/grease fittings and fluid top offs. Properly discard all used materials.
• Visually checks equipment for leaks and reports to fleet supervision; uses Inspection App at every service interval.
• Maintains accurate inventory records of air filters, fluids, oils, and fuel dispensed; coordinates with parts department.
