Position Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Heavy Equipment Lube Technician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine lubrication and maintenance services on a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and paving equipment. The Lube Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the longevity and optimal performance of our equipment by applying proper lubrication techniques, inspecting components for wear, and identifying potential issues.
This is a full‑time position with hours that may vary depending on project needs. Some overtime, weekends, and on‑call work may be required.

Missouri state statute requires public works construction workers to obtain an OSHA 10‑Hour for Construction certification. Members of all four unions affiliated with the Heavy Constructors Association of Greater Kansas City may obtain this training at no cost through the Construction Industry Laborers Training Fund. SB union member employees who do not yet have this certification are required to complete this training within 60 calendar days from the first day of employment.
