Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co. is seeking a Lube Field Technician to join our team of established professionals. You will operate and maintain earthmoving and construction equipment while focusing on preventive maintenance and delivering top-tier customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulics, and good computer skills. This is a field role with exposure to industrial conditions and DOT-related requirements.

Job description

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Lube Field Technician. Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful parts professionals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operating and maintain all types of earthmoving and construction equipment
• Prioritizing customer satisfaction
• Independently and successfully diagnosing and repairing equipment
• Focusing on preventive maintenance work
• As a Field Mechanic you are required to work in an industrial environment which includes exposure to significant environmental conditions

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications

• Must have 3-5 years of relevant working experience
• Graduate of a technical school, military school, or relevant working experience acceptable to the company.
• Knowledge of diesel engines
• Knowledge of hydraulics
• Electronically savvy
• Intermediate computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Overall stamina
• Sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing
• Carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, and crouching, listening, and speaking
• Must have good motor coordination skills
• Coordination of eyes, hands, and feet
• Verbal intelligence, and numerical intelligence
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must meet DOT regulatory & CBE requirements for operating CBE or related vehicles
• Must sign all documentation to meet DOT regulations and CBE requirements
