Job summary

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co. is seeking a Lube Field Technician to operate and maintain heavy equipment and deliver preventive maintenance. You will diagnose and repair equipment in field settings, prioritizing customer satisfaction and safety.

The role requires technical training and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with opportunities across multiple locations and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant working experience.

Job description

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Lube Field Technician. Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful parts professionals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operating and maintain all types of earthmoving and construction equipment
• Prioritizing customer satisfaction
• Independently and successfully diagnosing and repairing equipment
• Focusing on preventive maintenance work
• As a Field Mechanic you are required to work in an industrial environment which includes exposure to significant environmental conditions

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications

• Must have 3-5 years of relevant working experience
• Graduate of a technical school, military school, or relevant working experience acceptable to the company.
• Knowledge of diesel engines
• Knowledge of hydraulics
• Electronically savvy
• Intermediate computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Overall stamina
• Sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing
• Carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, and crouching, listening, and speaking

• Must meet DOT regulatory & CBE requirements for operating CBE or related vehicles
• Must sign all documentation to meet DOT regulations and CBE requirements
