Job summary

W.T. Byler Co., LLC is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Haul Truck Drivers to operate commercial vehicles across our Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast projects.

The role may require travel and offers travel compensation for some assignments. You will be responsible for safety-first operations, hauling heavy equipment, and supporting construction activities at various WT Byler projects, including commercial, industrial, railroad, and retail locations.

Qualifications

• Current valid Class A or B CDL driver license with clean driving record.
• 1–2 years of heavy equipment hauling experience preferred.
• Ability to travel for extended project assignments.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, background check and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles at WT Byler projects for various sites.
• Ensure safety and health is the top priority, following all policies and client standards.
• Haul equipment and materials to job sites and assist as needed during construction.
• Complete and submit equipment inspections per project requirements.
• Utilize proper PPE for all activities.

We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Haul Truck Drivers to operate commercial vehicles at WT Byler projects including commercial, industrial, railroad and retail locations. This position will require the ability to travel (travel compensation available for some assignments).

What You'll Do

• Ensuring that project safety and health is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures, including client standards and requirements
• Operates one of the following: backhoe, front end loader, excavator, bulldozer, track hoe, motor grader, and/or off-road dump truck
• Haul small equipment, heavy machinery and materials for delivery to job sites
• Assist general laborers and operators as needed during construction activities
• Assures unit is never operated in an unsafe manner or in a manner which is inconsistent with Standard Operating Procedures or the intended use for the equipment
Complete and submits equipment inspections per project requirements
• Utilize proper PPE for all activities
