Job summary

VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC in Gray Court, SC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Op/Forklift Op for 1st/2nd shift. You will operate forklifts, loaders, excavators and other machinery to move materials and waste while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires 1–3 years shipping/receiving experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Training and PPE provided; on-site work with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of shipping receiving and warehouse experience.
• Able to operate forklift/heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform Pushing/Pulling tasks.
• Ability to work well with others and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including forklifts, loaders, excavators, skid steers, and telehandlers.
• Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Load/unload waste materials in compliance with safety regulations.
• Offload inbound waste streams and verify documentation.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow labeling systems.
• Wear PPE and follow company safety policies at all times.
• Assist with general cleanup and other duties as assigned by supervision.
